6-6 against this year's schedule is like 3-9 against a normal P5 schedule.

2-20 against P5 teams with winning records.

The bottom line is that Odom never should have been hired in the first place. We gave him 4 seasons but his poor recruiting eventually caught up with him when Pinkel's players graduated. Anyone paying attention could see that Odom was in way over his head. The program was clearly trending downward.

If Sterk had a qualified replacement lined up, then he made the right move.
