Back in the day, they were one of a handful of schools that would be on national TV and they would use that to lure recruits. Now, everyone is on TV.

Scholarship limits and policing of steroids has killed them. I have said it before on here, they used to be able to offer a scholarship to the kid from Hersey Nebraska who was 6-2, 200 pounds and feed him steroids and after a redshirt year, he was 280. They would have 150 kids on scholarship. No more.
