It’s a big part of what made them so dominant and Mizzou a laughingstock in the 80s and 90s.
When Texas balked at forming the Big 12 until the rules against Prop 48s were put in place Osborne called it “Un American”. They then took a vote of all the schools. The vote was 11 to 1. Guess who the one was in favor of continuing unlimited Prop 48s?
I read that one of those teams in the mid 90s had 13 prop 48s in the two deep.
