First of all, USCe doesn't play the #4 team....

They do play #3 (as we do) and #9 Florida (as we do).

So the only difference is their in-state rival Clemson, and drawing tougher teams from the West division (Bama and A&M), but those games are either tradition (Clemson) or beyond their control (SEC scheduling).

Obviously, every SEC team wants a favorable conference schedule. As far as the non-con, I would NOT want to play Clemson, but I never suggested scheduling teams like that in my OP.
