I just said it makes the job of the persons involved that much more difficult. The law is the law and should be applied evenly. Totally agree that the impact on the family is the fault of the person committing the crime. It just raises another issue of what in the hell to do with the kids. I guess they'd go into the foster care system or to other family members if there are some. Happens in a lot of families.
