because of infirmity, or other than just lack of effort, and hell, including lack of effort, are they free to steal from others (infringing on their rights) in order to survive?

Because even if I buy into your argument that we are all born "free", I can't get past the idea that we are not born "equal".

Obviously, some might choose to be charitable, but perhaps not enough. So, is it ok for those that have to be selfish and for those that aren't able, to just be allowed to die?
