of "natural rights" - in many ways, it's faith or belief. "Natural rights" are an invention, a construct, to explain how philosophers thought that the world should be. Society is a construct and yes, to some extent, it's a limitation of beliefs. You surrender some things to the societal construct in hopes of a better life.
