not to go someplace where you can, “live in peace“?

Do you think you should have to obey the laws and pay taxes in order to live here? You don’t get to choose which rules and the laws to obey.

If you join a fraternity, a civic organization, or a health club, you have to abide by the rules of that organization. You are not to conscripted into that organization. But you have to pay dues, and you have to follow the rules. Or you can leave.
