If he somehow could develop soft hands and not let those passes slip out of bounds, he could potentially push a double-figure scoring average.

There will still be nights when he's completely overmatched by more athletic guys who have enough length to combat his size, but there will also be a lot of nights when opponents don't have that. In a best-case Nikko scenario, I could easily see him putting up several 12+ point performances an averaging around 8 for the year.
