I have two kids who are both big MU fans. They couldn't care less about ku.

When I'm 75 years old and something bad happens to ku, I'll still get a kick out of it. But for a new generation of fans, ku is someone else's problem. Being associated with ku in any capacity is bad for MU. They embody all that is wrong with college sports, and MU can never realize its potential by using ku as a benchmarking barometer of success.
