While it sucks the 2011-12 team sacrificed a regular season title and what would have been an end of year national #1 ranking heading into the NCAA tourney selection process in that travesty towards basketball of a game, that sacrifice is not in vain thanks to ku's pettiness about getting left behind when the Big 12 collapsed.

Hopefully none of our future student athletes are subjected to similar farces as what occurred on that day and were repeated many times over in games against ku. They are someone else's problem now.
