I expected this team to win 15-16 games this year

Now it's looking like I was too optimistic. Obviously I didn't see the Mark Smith injury coming. JT being out obviously didn't help.
What were some of you expecting this year without Jontay? Were you seriously thinking we were going to win 20 games?
The freshmen and sophomores look like the best players on the team with room to grow. Our point guard is sitting out a year and we're adding size and athleticism next year before we even know about JUCO or grad transfers. We're adding by subtraction every year KA's players leave.
My question is why are you still watching, if you expected a tournament team? We could win a few more games and get to 13 or 14 wins but that's the ceiling. Why watch the team with an expectation of playing winning basketball against SEC competition, particularly if it's going to p**s you off every time?
At this point I'm hoping for no more injuries, a win in the SEC tournament so Rag will shut up about that, and to get this rebuild season over with. Then focus on getting 2 or 3 of the big fish in the 2020 class.
