do people do good and “selfless“ deeds.
Is it 100% altruism?
Or is part of the reason, because it makes you feel good, about yourself? And if you do a good deed and a vacuum, and no one knows about it, do you still feel good about yourself, or do you need accolades, acknowledgment, and applause?
This is less about the raskol or the swamp rat than it is about human behavior, generally.
Why do people do good things?
