In your OP, you argued that race shouldn't matter, with which I agree.

My point is the following. In reality, skin color is a very minor part of diversity as it relates to the "diversity is our strength" slogan. Diversity, as it relates to the workplace and task completion is about talent and skills.

That the government has co-opted the term and/or slogan and made it about race is complete political gamesmanship meant to mollify constituents.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
