if we boil it down to "Each taxpayer owes an additional $xx per year", Id likely be out.
The fact that HS doesnt give students the tools anymore is an indication that students arent learning the proper things in HS.
I am happy that current HS graduates have a cursory knowledge of Biology and Chemistry (although I think Chem is optional), Id prefer they know how to pay taxes and invest their money.
Perhaps High Schools should have 'majors' in a sense that the curriculum is focused on their future, instead of a generalized approach.
There are ways of fixing it that dont include doling out college credits for free at the taxpayer's expense.
