actually said that Watson was ranked where he was due to his upside potential, and that while he has good mechanics his shooting was streaky. A lot of scouts believed Watson needed time to adjust to the next level, but his athleticism and ability to score at all three levels would eventually make him a star.

Cuonzo will tell you that Pickett is definitely not the same level athlete as Watson, but he's playing because he was more ready for the transition due to both the higher level of high school competition he played against, and the higher level of AAU competition (Pickett was BBE, Watson was on Ramey Jets).
