and like you said, look at Pujols. I thought the Cardinals stuck to their guns in a tough situation and, inevitably, as it always happens, some idiot broke the bank. That was the Angels.

He hasn't been the same player since and his career average has dropped a bunch. I think last year he was most affected in baseball by shifts. Or near the top.

Stanton was about as good as Ozuna. Yelich way twice as good as both of those guys. I really wish the Cardinals would have pushed the envelope to make a mega deal including Yelich. THey had the prospects. Instead the Brewers got him.
