he hasn't shown up at all in big games.
I totally understand why he is our QB, and why we haven't even needed to see another QB yet.
But as to how it relates to Odom... he adopted these players a long time ago. If he chooses to ride wins or losses with certain players at this point of his coaching career, its definitely on him if it doesn't work out. And its on him (in a good way) if it does work out.
My fear is that he hasn't recruited anyone better (or even close to as good) as Lock.
And if you take Lock away from this team and add any of the other QBs on the roster... I doubt we even have the 11-9 record we do the past 20 games.
I just look at how Larry Smith and Pinkel did it.. and by this point in their coaching tenures at Mizzou, Smith had Corby Jones as the future. And Pinkel had Brad Smith as the present and future and Daniel was only a few months from committing. I don't see the same thing in Odom
