Father of capitalism using a government intervention tactic...the irony.

Like I mentioned in my OP...we have seen tariffs drastically reduce in the last 50 years without having to do more trade wars.

The thing that should be embraced around free trade is different nations (and companies) have different strengths and weaknesses...trade helps to get those countries to work together for the benefit of both.

Unfortunately, protectionist leaders come along with a difference of opinion and disrupt everything....in the name of MAGA, or under the veil of anti-globalism
