Rights are our nature then there would not be so many places where they are absent. You cannot turn nature off and on.

We claim the North Koreans are oppressed, to them it is just their life. No one in medieval Europe claimed the serfs were oppressed they were simply property, you cannot oppress property. We may find that abhorrent today but throughout history that form of society is much more common than our modern western society.
