I sold cokes at Mizzou games in '77. Before USC got their payback in Columbia to open the season, "Uncle Al" gave me his autograph and said "it's going to be a tough one." I've always been impressed by the fact he gave a 12-year-old kid the time of day...before a big game. Surpsingly, John Robinson was also very kind, and gave me his autograph too. Times have changed.
