I want Dooley to be the feel good story of the season....I coach who has never called a play and was ran out of Ten. but becomes a stellar OC and our offense doesn't miss a beat.
But My logical analysis says that his gaggle hodge podge of a offensive system built to service Locks skill set only as opposed to what our OL and WR can do will be a dismal failure. He will struggle early with growing pains as any new OC would and couple that with the Fact Our WR have to be better at route running and our OL will have to protect for longer will not bode well for our Offensive production.
Add in that now against weaker opponents the Defense which I doubt under Odom/Walter will be that much better will not have the luxury of a High flying scoring offense. This will result in Loss after Loss...I see 6 wins and little after that.
SC,UGA,Purdue,Bama,UF, are Losses all most for certain...Memphis,Ten, and Ark are Pushes.
Maybe Odom has learned from his prior two seasons to not let his pride and hubris get in the way and he will embrace the GP/James system. I hope that is what he meant when he admitted to his failure and mistakes in his first two seasons.
