doing. I think they just needed a middle of the order bat and figured he would replicate 2017 - btw that year is looking like an anomoly.

The Cardinal Way doesn't really work anymore. 1) the FA's they have signed have either been busts or just not the impact guys they envisioned 2) guys that have come up have shown signs of potential but many haven't been able to put it together 3) manager didn't help with that
