the SEC East hasn't been all that great for several years now. Yes, UGA improved greatly last year, but the other teams in the division are still a notch below their counterparts in the West.

Having said all that, the SEC East is still tougher than the Big 12 North, especially when the North had weaklings such as kU, CU and ISU. Plus, KSU and NU were experiencing off years from where they have been previously.
