schedule is not really that hard if we play to our potential. This season will be about us much more than it is about the competition.

I can make a pretty good argument that last season's losing streak largely hinged on one play. That team was NOT mentally tough, especially early on. The offense was clicking and the defense had found something early on against SC. But the kick return was a guy punch that a team with little mental toughness and insecurity could not respond to, and everything fell apart.
It is not impossible to think that if they cover that kick, they beat SC and they don't get bltchslapped by Purdue.
