Has nothing to do with the ratings by the recruiting services! Has a lot more to do with the training, experience and annual familiarity with tuff football at the early ages which is better in most of Texas Than it is in MO. Therefore, by the time they are college age MO kids are about 3-5 years behind the Tx kids.
Same is true for kids in Cal, FL, and a good part of the other football playing states.
