Personally, I consider the players on our 2012 team to have made the ultimate sacrifice. They gave up a conference regular season crown, end of season #1 ranking, and an NCAA #1 seed in the preposterous farce of a game that was the last in the series so that no other future Tigers would be asked to play in Allen Field House and be subjected to things like that. If we start playing again, that sort of makes that sacrifice irrelevant and makes that silly officiating hard to stomach.
Its been 6 years since ku quit the rivalry, and although you are still here and several other ku fans still closely monitory this board for the most part ku has become entirely irrelevant to MU. Which has been a wonderful side bonus to joining the best conference and ensuring we have a long term seat at the table among major conference programs.
