Lets see. Lots of CEO's have long dated stock options. If the share price goes up, they automatically gain 100s of millions personally.

Corporate tax cuts increase stock prices. CEO's and corporations fund political candidates who pass corporate tax cuts.

Elegant system. Incentives matter.
