Last year. We lacked talent and now still are thin. They feel good about the first unit but depth is thin.

We'll continue to allow teams to dunk and dunk down the field, and try to lock down in red zone, capitalize on turnovers and opportunities to get in 3rd and long to get off the field. But we need a few more recruiting classes for our D. It's patchwork and young now.

From 15 to 16 -

14th to 9th in run defense
9th to 6th in pass defense
14th to 7th in total defense
14th to 8th in scoring defense

It will take a few more years to get some talent developed to get the lockdown defense.
