You replied that he is "a convenient escape (sic) goat", which I assume means you think Cross isn't to blame but is used for blame.

What I am saying is, he is the defensive coordinator, who doesn't call the plays and the defense is also very bad, so what difference, exactly, has he made positively to the team?

If the answer is "none" why is he here?

Is he good at player development? Doesn't seem like it. We know he isn't good enough to make his own scheme or call his own plays. Is he good at recruiting? There is no evidence of that. So, what exactly is he good for?
