the clown who wrote this. Wrong Ryan, war WAS the inevitable result, when the confederation decided to take over, BY FORCE, property belonging to the United States, when the preponderance of force (thank goodness) was with the US and when the US was led by a president committed to not have the country split in two.

So try dealing with the reality we now know, after the fact.

The whole piece is a pathetically transparent attempt to get around having to admit the war was caused by slavery, which the good southerner to this day will swear to. And what the hell difference does the vote totals for anyone make, to this issue.
