You just stated a guy who goes blind would "wander until he starved to death" if not for govt taxation and programs.

This implies there would be no charity for people if not forced by govt.

Here's an idea, you dope, if govt didn't take all the cash, there would be vastly, immensely more available from private sources to care for people.
