rich makes things better for everyone is flawed. I'm not saying there shouldn't be a safety net in place, but that's not what we've seen. The federal government spends funds in a was that best insures their party will retain power.
Where we all (those that choose to) prosper is when the free market is unshackled from federal constraints to grow and create jobs. At some level of taxation entrepreneurs with the means to do so decide that a new venture is not worth the risk or the hassle.
Are you ok with an able bodied American sitting on his ass and still collecting a paycheck for 95 weeks?
