Starkville, MS has been home to a Final Four team, so I don't know why it would be surprising or astonishing that a coach there could lure a legacy (Newman) or son of an assistant (Brooks). The surprising and astonishing thing is that he can't keep them there.

Your characterization of my position, is, as usual, incorrect. I don't want to believe the Porters wouldn't play for Howland, I just have no evidence that they would.
