How does Howland being MU coach save Romar's job?

You don't get to cherry pick the scenario....I know it all is total fantasy....but the facts, as we know them, are that KA offered MPS the job first and MPS turned it down....would MPS have turned down the job had a mutiple Final Four coach offered it? We will never know...but let's keep playing this game. So, say MPS does join Romar, that still doesn't save Romar's job.....he was going to get fired whether we hired Howland or KA. So, it is fair to say, since they have already stated they were homesick, they would have considered BH's offer the 2nd time. And I believe it is safe to say MPJ was going somewhere else had KA stayed
