Is how even when Mike Anderson was winning, there just wasn't the excitement that we've had already with Cuonzo, even if it's short-lived. Excitement puts butts in the seats.

I remember when Anderson's teams were ranked and he was practically begging people to come out. We still couldn't seem to fill up the arena most nights or get a lot of media hoopla around the program.

Bottom line, at P5 schools, basketball MUST be highly a profitable program, since football and basketball pay for all the other sports. It's been a long time since both teams were in great shape at the same time. I'm hopeful that 2017 will be the start of a long period of success for both. Sterk seems to really understand the value of this. So glad we hired him.
