was sponsored by Keyshawn Johnson and had 2 ex NBA players coaching the upper level teams in the program. Of course, its unlikely Key was using his own money to sponsor as every new tournament we seemed to have new Nike jerseys, bags, apparel, etc. We had 9 guys ended up playing D1 so the shoe companies and college scouts/coaches/handlers were always hanging around.

We played tournaments in different cities just about every weekend too. I had no idea at the time who was actually paying for all of it. Its also the full-time job of the coaches, so the 'sponsors' are paying their salaries as well.
