Agreed, GP was an ok coach but no where's near a great coach

or great recruiter. He lost too many Top 150 in state kids to out of state programs. Then when he finally got a Top recruit, DGB, he didn't know how to handle him so he ended up kicking him off the team. Don't get me wrong he helped the program but probably stayed a few years too long and left it in a decline. BO has his worked cut out to build it back. GP was an OK coach, but not great.
