were afterthoughts in the recruiting world. Brad Smith, Chase Daniel, Henry Josey, Danario Alexander, Michael Sam, and countless others were 2-3 star players. He was definitely an exception to the "stars matter" rule, winning 4 division titles in 8 seasons. Often times over programs who had much better recruiting rankings than he did.
