with people who seemingly want to die painfully with all of their bad choices. Our current system seemingly rewards that behavior by giving them a safety net which they will happily fall into. Meanwhile, if you make a decent living but have a child with a congenital problem, you have to pay your own way. It's lunacy.

I'm not sure how exactly to fix that but it needs to be fixed.
