True-you are correct in that I am trying to gauge their performance relative to our fan base expectation, not relative to the entire MLB or even American League.
In the latest player rankings 1-100, the Royals had Danny Duffy @ #64 & Sal Perez @ #100. That's in all of MLB. Shows what one writer thinks of our players vs the rest of baseball.
