It absolutely has to be the greatest collection of talent ever assembled, and the best four teams ever assembled, in any regional bracket in the history of the tournament. Illinois, Syracuse, Missouri, and Louisville. An inconceivably mind-boggling 20 future NBA players appeared in the night's double-header.

Sherman Douglas, Derrick Coleman, Stevie Thompson, Billy Owens, David Johnson, Anthony Peeler, Doug Smith, Byron Irvin, Gary Leonard, Nick Anderson, Kenny Battle, Kendall Gill, Marcus Liberty, Stephen Bardo, Pervis Ellison, Felton Spencer, Kenny Payne, Labradford Smith and Jerome Harmon.

Talk about a bad draw.....
