littered with ex-Kings players and lots of high level D-1 players. It was supposed to be a competitive (but not cutthroat) environment, but you know how that works out with egos in competition. My team played Clay's and we double teamed him everytime he set foot on the block, with or without the ball...basically a triangle and 2 with the extra man doubling down from each side.
First half, basically frustrated him and ran out to double digit lead. He came back with a vengeance in the second half. I thought we played outstanding defense against him, denying the ball, double teaming in the post, etc. But he showed why he had gotten a look in the NBA...wound up with 42 if memory serves right. We still won the game by about half a dozen, some deadeyes from long range on my team. Still, Clay had it and he was probably late 30's then.
