Last year in his junior year, Howard was explosive, but he was also inconsistent and threw 14 interceptions. He and his team weren't as effective against the few teams they played that had good defenses, especially TCU with Cross as DC. Holgorsen said that this year Howard has to do a better job of making routine plays.
If our defense does its job based on what we already know what we can do, he's going to be under some pressure. That's when his mistakes will show up.
I predict that for us to win, we need to at least score in the twenties. But if we can run the ball, control clock and ram it down their throats even if we don't always score, this could still be a low scoring game.
