on the military bases but do not on the embassies. If you're not going to have as many of one, you have to have more of the other.
Obama will be appreciated in the future for dusting off the diplomatic playbook. We had forgotten that diplomacy can work well with countries like Cuba and Iran. Sure, the mouth breathers here don't like it, but of course they're never the people firing weapons in anger either.
To draw down the military overseas, you have to draw down the budget and destroy America's secret form of socialism...military service. Sure, we need some soldiers, but do we really need that many? Surely not. But we spend $600 billion a year on defense. A good portion of that, as we've seen, is to make sure we make new tanks and other equipment that even military brass says we don't need. Why? More socialism...employing workers at American companies.
