the implications of the reveal as beneficial for Trump rather than looking at the national security perspective.

Trump's call for reveal isn't going to be the reason they are revealed. And he shouldn't be blamed for it.

It's the fact he's calling for the reveal of national security information that appears reckless.

He doesn't actually need to do it. A much better approach would be to say that the leaking of her emails would represent further damage to US intereste and shows just how reckless she is.
