I found it interesting that they discussed both left & right

using identity politics but each had their own pet identities to protect...
Left was the typical woke & other LGBTQ+ stuff, the right is protecting Israel using claims of anti-semitism when they feel threatened, safe spaces for Jewish students etc.
I hadn't thought of it that way, but it rings true.
It is a way "the ruling class" can keep the minions fighting amongst themselves, rather than being united in calling out the ruling class for the endless wars or the corrupt financial system.
