I wasn't a fan of the Odom hire, but appreciated his loyalty and thought he deserved the chance to prove himself. He proved that he couldn't get it done at level he needed to, but he took the job at a time when there wasn't much interest from top-level coaches, nd I appreciated that.

I don't have a constant need to trash decent people. I'm willing to err on the side of grace and give them the chance to prove themselves. I felt the same way about people working for me. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Give people the benefit of the doubt.
