we can make solar and wind more reliable.

I am still curious about the long-term effects massive wind farms will have on the weather. Newton's first law of thermodynamics tells us that energy cannot be created from nothing. If we are using wind farms to convert wind energy to electricity then that has to have an effect on the weather.
