professional coach since he was like 10 years old...i suspect it's that way with a lot of the guys on tour.
I don't think it's as much about access to a course, there are programs that kids under 18 can utilize that make it really cheap to play but it doesn't probably come with world class instruction and range balls.
It also helps to play really nice golf course with great practice facilities and have the ability to travel all over for tournaments...that would require some rich parents.
